| League Summary |
| West Bay Adult Hockey (WBAH) promotes a fun, friendly, and
safe environment for recreational hockey. The Night Owls League is an In-House
Club Hockey league, where the league forms the teams and may adjust teams
throughout the season to maintain parity. It is a non-checking league, and the
teams are coed. |
| Rules |
Game Length
Games are approximately an hour and fifteen minutes in length. There
are three 15-minute, stopped-time periods and no overtime periods during the regular
season. |
Icing
Icing occurs when any player on a Team, equal or superior in numerical
strength to the opposing Team, shoots or deflects the puck from the far blue line to
beyond the goal line of the opposing Team. Play is stopped and a face-off will take
place in the offending player's zone. |
Offsides
Offsides occurs when both feet of an offensive player crosses the blue
line into the offensive zone prior to the puck entering the offensive zone. Play is
stopped only when the offensive team gains control of the puck in the offensive zone
while an offensive player is offsides. |

light, turn left onto Bay Road. The rink is on the right, just before reaching
a 7-11 store. |
From the South:
Take 101N, exit and head west on Marsh Road. At the third
light, turn right onto Florence Road. Florence Road becomes Bay Road. The rink is
on the left right after passing a 7-11 store. |
